Deborah joined Always There in 1997 and was appointed Executive Director in 2006. Deborah holds a Bachelor of Science Nursing degree from Boston University, a Master of Science Nursing degree and a Master of Public Health degree from Hunter College. She is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Public Health. She is also an Advanced Certified Home Care Executive.

Joe Arter

Joe joined Always There in 1998 and joined the management team in 2006. Joe oversees all financial aspects of the agency. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration Accounting from Ohio University.

Susan
McCarthy RN
Director of Clinical Services Susan joined Always There and the management team in 2012. Susan oversees
all services provided to patients and clients in their homes. She holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing
from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.

John Haskell

John joined Always There in 1997 and joined the management team in 2006. John oversees the IT department, all aspects of the physical facility, and the purchasing department. He holds an Associate of Arts degree from the University of Phoenix.

Jami L. Anson

Jami joined Always There and the management team in 2009. Jami oversees the marketing and public relations, grant writing, and fund raising activities. She holds an Associate Degree in Commercial Graphic Design and Art. She has been the recipient of the Folio Magazine's National OZZY Award for creative layout design for InsideOUT Magazine and the Fred C. Cramer Award for Best Photography in Chess Journalism.

Cindy Kouhout, MPA

Cindy joined the agency and the management team in 2010. Cindy audits all aspects of the agency for compliance with state, federal, and local legislation, and oversees the development and implementation of quality improvement projects. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from SUNY New Paltz and a Master of Public Administration from Marist College.

Mike joined Always There in 2011. Mike oversees the Human Resources Department. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from the State University of New York at New Paltz with a concentration in Human Resources Management and Statistics. He is certified by the Society for Human Resource Management.

Anne joined Always There in 2012. Anne oversees the Adult Day Programs. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Saint Joseph’s College and a Masters of Adult Education and Training from the University of Phoenix.
